Luke Thomas Lacefield

Luke Lacefield, 31, of Utica, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at his residence. The Daviess County native was born January 11, 1995, to the late Michael E. Lacefield and Angela Lacefield. Luke graduated from Apollo High School with the class of 2013 where he played baseball and basketball. He then received his associates degree in IT from OCTC. Luke was crazy for his two children, Adam and Layla, and loved being their dad. He was an avid Tennessee Titan fan and enjoyed playing golf and Pokémon.

In addition to his father, Luke also was preceded in death by his brothers, Adam Dewayne Lacefield in 2011 and Michael Dale Lacefield in 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Adam and Layla Lacefield and their mother, Erica; his mother, Angela Lacefield; brother, Jody Lacefield and his wife Shawna; several nieces and nephews, Zach, Cody, Katie, Kallie, and Cassidy.

The visitation for Luke will be Tuesday, November 10 from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm followed by a 2:00 pm funeral service at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
