Lucy Hudson Hatfield

Mrs. Lucy Hudson Hatfield, 79, of 3412 Placid Place, Owensboro, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003, in Cape Coral, FL. She was born August 4, 1924 in Grayson Co., KY the daughter of the late C.A. and Katie Woosley Hudson. She was a member of the C.W.F. at Century Christian Church, where she was a charter member. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star #24, Acadia Chapter of Owensboro. She retired as a sales lady from Mr. Wiggs. She was preceded in death by a son, J. R. Jimmy Hatfield, Jr., who died August 8, 1996.

Survivors include her husband J.R. Hatfield, Sr., one granddaughter, Amber Nicole Hatfield Haley of Owensboro; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Marie Haley; one sister, Lottie Finch of McLeansboro, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home, with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2003, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
