Lucille Thompson Peak, 81, of 5117 Highway 81, North, Calhoun, died Tuesday, December 4,2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System.

The Daviess County, Kentucky native was a member of Glenville Baptist Church for more than 50 years, where she taught Sunday school and was president of the Missionary Society. She was a 52 years member of the Glenville Homemakers Club and was vice- president of the McLean County Homemakers. Mrs. Peak was an active community volunteer who loved travel and organizing family and school reunions.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Adrian Peak, a son, David Adrian Peak of Glenville, a daughter, Ronda Peak Hawes of Marion, Iowa, two brothers, Tilford Thompson of Pleasant Ridge and Gene Thompson of Robinson, IL, a sister, Amy Neubaurer of Owensboro, four granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Glenville Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Glenville Baptist Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Missionary Society of Glenville Baptist Church, 10517 Ky. Highway 81, Utica, KY 42376.
