Lucille Gatton

Lucille Gatton, 89, of Owensboro, died January 13, 2006 at the Carmel Home. The Daviess Co. native was born on July 28, 1916 to the late Jacob and Katherine Goetz Collignon. She was a former member of St. Mary Magdalene Parish, and presently a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Parish. She loved to quilt and make crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.I. Gatton, her daughter Janice Frey and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter Marie Priar and husband, Glover of Haubstadt, IN; her sons, Dennis Gatton and wife Charlotte of Maceo, and Larry Gatton and wife Pat of Denver, CO, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Carmel Home with Father Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2006, from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. with prayers at 6:00 p.m., at Glenn Funeral Home and Monday from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
