Lucille F. Cummins

Lucille F. Cummins, 93, of Owensboro, passed away on October 1, 2014. She was born in Paragould, Arkansas on June 10, 1921 to the late Oscar V. and Bessie E. Wright Thompson.

Lucille was of the Methodist faith. She retired from York Manufacturing (Borg Warner) where she worked as an assembler. Lucille enjoyed games, cooking, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Hurd, a sister, and 5 brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Pat Grooms of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jerry Grooms (Georgette), Kathy Keller( Dale) and Michael Grooms (Bobbie); great- grandchildren, Lindsey Head (Joseph), Torrey Grooms (Allyson) and Ryan Grooms (fianc, Sadie Mattingly); great-great-grandchildren, James Head and Abigail Grooms; a sister, Juanita Barnhill (Rex) of Panama City, Florida; and her beloved dog, Zoe.

Service and visitation will be private.
