Loyse C. Prine

Loyse "Jan" Prine, 80, of Owensboro, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born December 1, 1929 to the late Clovis and Myrtie Moore Cook in Eastman, GA. She had worked as a waitress for many years and enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt J. Prine on October 5, 1999.

Survivors include one son, Dean and his wife, Cecilia Prine of Dallas, TX, three daughters, Darlene and her husband, Joe Yazvac, and Lynn Cooper, all of Owensboro, Lisa and her husband, Jack Durling of Leesburg, FL; eight grandchildren, Jessica Yazvac Moorman and Joey Yazvac, Ashley Cooper, Ricky and Jenna Durling, Casey Prine, Brooke Prine Wardell, and Brian Waldrip; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Perry and his wife, Jean Cook of Cummings, GA; a sister-in-law, Pat Wilson of Winter Haven, FL.

Services and burial will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fl. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
