Louise Rucker Smith

Louise Rucker Smith, 96, of Owensboro, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at the Harborside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born February 7, 1910 in Dawson Springs to the late Tolbert and Lelia Baker Rucker, she had worked at S.W. Anderson and was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlie Smith, and brothers, Allen , Ellsworth and Goodloe Rucker.

Surviving are a son, Kermit Smith of Owensboro; a sister, Ruth Brunker of Fishers, IN; and a brother, Francis Rucker of Princeton.

Services are 1 P.M. Monday, May 8, 2006 at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday.
