Louise T. Roberts

Louise T. Roberts, 92, of Owensboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at her home. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late James and Blanche Barr Turner. She was a 1934 graduate of Owensboro High School and a member of Good Shepherd Church and the Live Wire Bible Class where she faithfully attended and served. She retired from Sears, Roebuck, and Co. in 1981 after 21 years of service. She enjoyed playing the violin and singing in the choir and performing in dramas at the church. She also enjoyed gardening, yard work, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons, Taylor Roberts and wife Linda and Ken Roberts and wife Martha, all of Owensboro, four grandchildren, David Roberts and wife Ashley and Shelly Roberts, all of Owensboro, Brad Roberts and wife Lindsay and Cristi Violet, all of Lexington, two great grandchildren, Sylvie Roberts of Lexington and Aiden Roberts of Rockport, Ind., and a sister, Marian Turner of Owensboro.

Private services will be held Tuesday with Rev. John Morse and Jim Wells officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home.
