Louise Horlander

Louise Horlander, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Hillcrest. She was born in Daviess Co., KY to the late Milburn and Mabel Chancellor Knight. She had worked at General Electric Co., at the former Hartman's Hardware Store, and also at Roberts Motor Co. for 19 years. Louise was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. She was a KY Colonel and enjoyed driving , traveling, and making wedding cakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Horlander in 1977 and a grandson, Michael Horlander II in 1993.

Surviving are a son, Mike Horlander and wife Karen of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Brad (Sanom) Horlander of Ft. Hood Texas and Katie (Blake) Adams of Owensboro, two great grandchildren, Sydney Horlander and Kaiden Adams, and close family friends Benny and Skippy Ford of Owensboro.

Services will be 12 Noon Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
