Louise Rose Collins

Mrs. Louise Rose Collins, 82, of 2920 Yale Place, Owensboro, died Friday, January 9, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born March 20, 1922, to the late Silas and Lilie Clexton Rose, in Muhlenberg County. She retired from General Electric after 34 years, and was a member of Wing Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband Malcolm W. Collins died 7-1-1987.

Survivors include four sons, Bobby Joe Vincent of Witchtal Falls, TX, Jesse Williams Barnett of Sacramento, Darrell Wayne Vincent of Evansville, IN, Roger Ray of Pine Bluff, AR, two daughters, Gladys Bishop and Kathleen Bratcher, both of Owensboro, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one brother, J.T. Rose of Central City, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:30 PM Tuesday, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, and after 9:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
