Louella Crowe Roberts

Louella Crowe Roberts, 87, of Owensboro, passed away January 2, 2006 at her residence. She was born October 10, 1918 to the late Ira Lee and Lula Ashworth Crowe in Daviess Co. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, retired from General Electric after thirty-one years of service and her greatest joy was caring for and spending time with her son who has mental retardation. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty- eight years, William Roberts, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon K. and Lawes Mayfield of Utica, her son, William Roberts, Jr. of Owensboro, her step-daughter, Malinda Cobos of Montebello, CA, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Myke Templeton officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2006 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
