Lori Ann Richard

Lori Ann Richard, 56, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado to William E. and Priscilla Locher.

Lori most recently worked as the Activities Director at Leisure Years nursing home. She had also served as manager of a local Dairy Queen. Lori was an active member of The Eagles #4168 where she was a trustee of the Women’s Auxillary. She was also a member of Amvets Post #75. Lori enjoyed socializing and played a lot of Bunco, pool and shuffleboard. She also enjoyed quilting, camping, woodworking and fishing. 

She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Locher.

Lori is survived by her husband of 23 years, Terry Richard; daughters, Tonya Richard, Bridget Richard (Nina), Chasity Whalin (Travis) and Felicia Glenn (Matthew); a son, Duwayne Berry; her mother, Priscilla Locher; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Mike Locher (Jovonna), Danny Locher (Song), Jaimie Locher (Vicki) and Jon Locher; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 13 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM, with an Eagles Ceremony at 6:00, and Saturday from 8:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
