Lorene Gray Pagan

Lorene Gray Pagan, 97, of Owensboro, died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at her home. She was born March 12, 1911, to the late Joseph and Nancy Hornback Gray in Ohio County. She retired from Owensboro Vocational School after 14 years of service, was a member of the Owensboro Church of Christ and the Early Morning Homemakers Club. She always enjoyed traveling and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward William Pagan, on June 16, 2000, a grandson, Duane Allen Hamilton, and two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ann Kaczmarski and her husband, Henry of Mahomet, IL, her son, Michael Pagan and his wife, Barbara of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Ramona Jo Hamilton, Edward W. Pagan and his wife, Rita, Jo Ann Finch and her husband, Kevin, Cindy Gail Thomas and her husband, Kyle, Susan Kay Erickson and her husband, Neal; eight great-grandchildren, Benjamin Hamilton, Emily Finch, Sarah Pagan, John Finch, Seth Thomas, David Pagan, Quinn Thomas, and Dylan Erickson.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, and after 8:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
