Lorene Carmon

Lorene Carmon, 94, of Owensboro, died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. A native of Webster County, she was born in Sebree to the late Owen and Viola (Scott) Daugherty, and preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Carmon in 2000, and a brother James Daugherty in 2005.
Mrs. Carmon was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved to go shopping and garage sales, and loved flowers.
She is survived by her daughters, Martine Beloat of Owensboro, and Barbara Armstrong of Henderson, brothers J.C. Daugherty of Paducah and a sister, Christine Nicely of Owensboro, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Hocker officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson.
