Lonnie Alvin Anderson

Lonnie A. Anderson, 86, of 1824 Sunset Dr., Owensboro, died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at the Leisure Years Nursing Home. The Pleasant Ridge native was retired from David Hocker Associates where he was the Maintenance Supervisor at Weslyan Plaza for 23 years. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church; the Woodlawners Senior Club; and was an umpire for the Owensboro Oilers. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bobbie Harrison Anderson; a son, Joseph Anderson of Sacremento, CA; a dadughter, Sheree Anderson Royal of Jeffersonville, IN; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Autrey Anderson of Owensboro; and two sisters, Marie Jones of AL and Juanite Strobel of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. on Wednesday.
