Loma Dickinson Scheurich, 89, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the home of her daughter. She was born September 16, 1918 in Horton, AL, and was a member of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Thomas Dickinson in 1966, Roy Scheurich in 1993, and a son, Phillip Donald Dickinson on February 9, 2008.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hedden, and her husband, Norman of Owensboro; her son, Frank A. Dickinson of Pell City, AL; a daughter-in-law, Diane Dickinson of Griffin, GA; nine grandchildren, Kathy (John) Hoffman, and Paula Hedden of Owensboro, Beth Ann (Eddie) Dorsett of Roswell, GA, Frank (Kim) Dickinson, Jr., and Tommy (Krista) Dickinson of Birmingham, AL, James Ray (Lisa) Dickinson, Phillip David Dickinson, Charles (Kim) Dickinson of Owensboro, and Renae Williams of Grandview, MO; 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Bobby) Shell of Boaz, AL, and Minnie Faye (Travis) Hullett of Oneonta, AL; three brothers, Bobby (Francis) Frachiseur, and Harvey Frachiseur of Altoona, AL, Jim (Marlene) Frachiseur of Horton, AL; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 12:00 PM (EST) Monday, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Louisville, KY, officiated by Rev. Dr. Timo Karvonen, pastor of Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home.
