Lola Norris Stone

Lola Norris Stone, 94, of Owensboro died Friday, July 15, 2005 at Wellington Parc. Born March 26, 1911 in Ohio County, Mrs. Stone was the daughter of the late Ira Eugene and Frances Lovenia Dickens Norris. She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked as a dental hygienist for 10 years and co-owned and operated clothing stores in Indianapolis and in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Stone in 1995 and s step-son, Jack Robert Stone and four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include a a step-son, Mack Henry Stone of Indianapolis; a step-daughter, Betty Jo Tucker of Dahlauga, GA; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eltis Buster Norris of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Monday, July 18, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Cates Cemetery in Whitesville. Visitation will be from 2-6 P.M. on Sunday and after 10 A.M. on Monday.
