Lois Green Whitaker

Lois G. Whitaker, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014, at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pee Wee Valley, KY. She was born June 15, 1933 in Daviess Co. to the late Porter H. and Iva Green. Lois was retired from the General Electric. Co. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norris E. Whitaker in 2005, a daughter, Suzanne Whitaker in 1978, and a sister, Mae Ambrose in 2004.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael S. Whitaker and wife Jennifer of Crestwood and Robert A. Whitaker of Madisonville, three grandchildren, Jeremy Whitaker of Madisonville, and Hadley and Finley Whitaker, both of Crestwood, and one great grandchild, Blaze Whitaker of Madisonville.

Services will be 12 Noon Friday, December 26, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
