Lois R. Warren, 90, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Carmel Home. She was born February 19, 1924 in Ramsey, IL to the late Marshall and Pearl Manley Richardson. She was retired as a registered nurse having worked with Hospice for 20 years. Lois had received her nurse's training from the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. She enjoyed dancing, horseback riding, entertaining family and friends, and working with Hospice. She especially loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. Lois was also preceded in death by her husband, B. H. Warren, M.D. on December 1, 1971, a son, B. H. "Pete" Warren II on June 10, 2005, a daughter, Lynne Elliott on July 5, 2010, a grandson, David Hinchcliffe in 1993, and three brothers and a sister.
Surviving are four children, Steve and wife Melissa Warren of Murfreesboro, TN, Chris and wife Vickie Warren of Owensboro, Polly and husband Larry McCubbins of Owensboro, and Holly and husband Mark Vickers of Henderson, 19 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 24, at St. Stephen Cathedral. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday with prayers at 7:30 P.M. and from 8:30-9:30 A.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
