Lois Kathryn Dennison

August 24, 1929 — February 4, 2007

Lois Kathryn Dennison, 77, of Owensboro, ended her struggle and went to be with her Lord Sunday, February 4, 2007, surrounded by her family. Born in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Walter and Lyda Brown Tudor, she was a member of the Relevant Faith Church. A committed mother, she had worked as a caregiver, loved cooking, and wrote countless poems. Holidays and the time she could spend with her family were special to her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dennison, a daughter, Lyda Lee Dennison, her brothers, Laurie Tudor, Pete Tudor, and Shirley Ray and her sister, Emogene Ransom.

Survivors include her children, Michael Dennison and his wife Shannan, Sharon Wilson and Charles, Dana Krampe and her husband Bernard, Kim Shouse and her husband Tim, Chris Dennison and his wife Kaye, and Eraina Estes and Andrew, all of Owensboro, Beverly Burden and her husband Shelby of Beaver Dam, and Jolene Gholson and her husband Charlie of Utica; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and her special friend Richard Duncan.

Services, officiated by Rev. Oda Shouse, are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley.
