Lois Barton

Lois Barton, 86, of 5956 Old Ky. 54, Philpot, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late William Estill and Fonzine Clark Barton. She started working at Ken-Rad and then retired from General Electric Co. She was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved having her hair done every Wednesday at Mr. Jims Beauty College. She also was preceded in death by a nephew, Claude Banks on Oct. 1, 1995, and a brother, Thomas Barton.

Surviving is a great niece and her husband, Terry & Steve Russelburg of Philpot, a great nephew, Tim Banks of Owensboro, a sister, Mildred Chancellor of Philpot, and a nephew, Bill Barton of Florida, and several great; great great; and great great great nieces & nephews.

Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
