Logan Jacob Satterly

Logan Jacob Satterly, 17, of Owensboro died Friday, December 19, 2003 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Whitesville. Logan was born in Owensboro on February 22, 1986 and was a senior at Apollo High School. He played drums in the Apollo Marching and Jazz Bands, and was a member of the Eklipse Winter Drum Line in Hopkinsville, KY. He attended the Gospel of the Kingdom Church. Logan was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Gaye Ashton Satterly on November 11, 2003 and his maternal grandfather, Delbert Allen Ashton.

Logan is survived by his father, Jackie L. Satterly; a brother, Landon Satterly, a student at the University of Kentucky in Lexington; his maternal grandmother, Syble Harrison Ashton of Owensboro; paternal grandparents, Jackson and Marilyn Satterly of Shepherdsville, KY; aunts and uncles, Jamie and Steve Richter of Louisville and Doug and Donna Satterly of Shepherdsville, KY and Phyllis and Tim Sherritt , and Debby and Charles Hatchett of Owensboro; and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Monday, December 22, 2003 and after 11 A.M. on Tuesday.
