Lloyd Thomas Tom Lancaster, 89, of Leisure Years Nursing Home, Owensboro, died there Wednesday, February 13, 2002. He was born August 20, 1912 in Daviess County, Kentucky the son of Ben and Kate Mullican Lancaster. His wife, Mary Agnes Lancaster, preceded him in death in June 1992.
He retired as a farmer from Bill Joe Foster Farms, was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his dog.
Survivors include a son, James Lloyd Lancaster of San Antonio; a daughter, Veronica Vickie Stinnett of Owensboro; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Father Eric Riley. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2002 and after 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
