Lloyd Ray Barnes

Lloyd Ray Barnes, 61, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at his home. Lloyd was a family man. He was the "glue " in his marriage and loved his grandchildren, his "babies" and helped to raise a lot of kids. He also enjoyed playing cards, and was a great cook. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, Annette and Clovis Barnes, and a son, Ray Barnes Jr. preceeded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 18 years, Irene Barnes, daughters; Tirhonda, Jasmine, Lacisha, Namita (Dawn), Dawnisha, Damita, De'Aisha, Da'Laza and Nevaeh Brown, his sons; Kujali, Adam and Dionte Brown, sisters; Janice Robinette, Christell Payne and Shirley Jones, brothers; Charles, Rodney and Franklin Barnes, and a granddaughter; Somer Barnes.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday with visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
