Lisa Ashton Satterly

Lisa Ashton Satterly, 42, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. The Daviess County native attended the Gospel of the Kingdom Church and was an LPN in the office of Dr. Ron Taylor. She was the pianist and song leader for her church and composed gospel music. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Allen Ashton in 1997.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jackie Lee Satterly; two sons, Landon Lee Satterly, a student at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, and Logan Jacob Satterly, at home; ; her mother, Syble Harrison Ashton of Owensboro; two sisters, Phyllis (and Tim) Sherritt and Debby (and Charles) Hatchett of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 11 A.M. Friday, November 14, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 P.M. on Thursday, November 13, 2003 and after 10 A.M. on Friday.
