Lisa Lindsey Holt

Lisa Lindsey Holt, 44, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her home. She was born on December 15, 1966 in Chicago, IL. She was a homemaker and had worked at Childcare, Inc. for eight years and then was with Waxworks Video. She was of the Baptist faith and was a 1985 graduate of Owensboro High School where she was an honor student. All her friends called her "Sunshine" because she was always smiling and happy. She was the type of person who never met a stranger. Lisa enjoyed the outdoors, working in the yard, and taking care of her pool. She loved spending a lot of time with her husband and son, and going places and doing things with them. She was very proud of her husband who was nearing his graduation from Oakland City University receiving a bachelors degree in Business Management. She also enjoyed watching U.K. football and basketball, and fishing with family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 22 years, Robert "Bobby" Holt, her son, Robert Griffin Holt II, her parents James and Carolyn Sue Lindsey of Owensboro, and her brother, James Andrew Lindsey of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 4, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
