Lisa Kay Payne Gibson

Lisa Payne Gibson, 47, of Louisville passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at her home. Born in Daviess County on December 30, 1961, Mrs. Gibson was a district sales manager for New York and Company in Louisville and a member of the Mother of the Good Council Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, caring for her family, especially her sons, and outdoor activities and traveling. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Payne in 2000 and a sister, Vicki Ann Payne in 1967.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, William "Bill" Gibson, Jr.; sons, Kasey Gibson of Louisville and Eric Gibson of Lexington; her mother and step-father, Gerri and Floyd Hearld of Philpot; brothers, Shawn (Andrea) Payne and Brad (Sherri) Payne of Philpot, Greg (Lisa) Payne of Hardinsburg, Mike (Cathy) Payne of Owensboro, and David (Beth) Payne of Lewisport; a sister, Sandra (Bill) Boyken of Alabaster, AL, and her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Daisy Gibson of Calhoun.

Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at St Alphonsus Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Prayers will be 6 p.m. on Monday.
