Lindle E. "Bud" Daugherty, Jr.

Lindle E. “Bud” Daugherty, Jr., 76, of Owensboro, passed away Monday February 23, 2026 at Signature Healthcare—Hillcrest. He was born June 20, 1949 in Jefferson Co. to the late Lindle E. Daugherty, Sr. and Martha McMahan Daugherty. Bud was a longtime painter and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid U.K. basketball fan, enjoyed watching old movies, and enjoyed bowling having bowled in several leagues for many years. He also loved stock car racing and raced himself in dirt track racing. Bud was also preceded in death by a nephew, Allen Daugherty, Jr. on August 1, 2012.

Surviving is a brother, Everett A. Daugherty and wife Teri of Philpot.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 27 in the Chapel of Owensboro Memorial Gardens with burial following there.
