Linda Fulkerson Wills, 77, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Wellington Parc. Born In McLean County on February 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Owen Davis Fulkerson and Eatheal Leamon Fulkerson; was retired from Owensboro National Bank where she was a teller for more than 30 years; and was a member of St John United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wills graduated from Eastern Kentucky University where she was a strong advocate for women's collegiate sports; was a champion ping pong player; and enjoyed painting, and collecting various items. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Wills; a daughter, Tonia Suzette Adams; and a brother, Harry Nolan Fulkerson.
Surviving are brothers, Jimmy Fulkerson and Dennis (Barbara) Fulkerson of Indianapolis; a sister-in-law, Judy Fulkerson of Indianapolis; six nieces and nephews; and her devoted caregivers, Ruth Little, Pam Johnson and Jennifer Allen.
Services are 12 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St John United Methodist Church, The American Cancer Society, or Western Kentucky Hospice.
