Linda Ann Walker

Linda Ann Walker, 67, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. She was born in Flint, Michigan to the late Franklin Dowell, Sr. and Betty Jean Dunn Dowell. 

 Linda was a dedicated homemaker who had also worked at the Executive Inn and Packaging Unlimited. She enjoyed writing and authored two short books and many poems. Linda wasn’t one to sit around, she stayed busy and was always up for a good round of Bingo.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Mark Clark in 1994; a second husband, Charles Michael Walker in 2002; two young daughters, Rebecca Marlinda in 1975 and Angel Heather in 1980; and three siblings, Alice Penrod, Connie McElwain and Dewayne Dowell.

 She is survived by sons, Matt Clark and Shawn Clark; grandchildren, Christopher Adam Vickers, Anna Marie Richards, Breeley LaRay Phillips and Ashton Levi Doss; siblings, Diana Dowell, Vicki Parker and Frank Dowell; and many nieces and nephews.

 The family will hold a private celebration of Linda’s life.
