Linda Faye Sturgeon

Linda Faye Sturgeon, 65, of 3501 St. Ann Street, Owensboro, died Wednesday, June 01, 2005, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born August 3, 1939 to the late Roscoe L. and Fannilee Cecil Foster, Sr. in Daviess County. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hope General Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, and watching sports.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Millard Cardwell, who died in 1985; her 2nd husband, Joseph Beck Sturgeon, who died in 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Cardwell of Greenville, Robin Cardwell Beals of Rumsey; one son, Kevin Lee Cardwell of Battlesboro, NC; four grandchildren; three brothers, Roscoe L. Foster, Jr., Charlie Foster, and Wendell Foster, all of Owensboro; two sisters, Dorothy Marie Robertson and Deana Benham, both of Owensboro.


Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Association ,723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY, 42301.
