Linda Lou Cain Palmer

Linda Cain Palmer, 60, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Owensboro on September 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Frances Fenwick Cain; was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church; and had worked at the Carmel Home and Owensboro Daviess County Hospital as a Nurse Assistant. Mrs. Palmer's first priority was always her immediate family and her church family. She was devoted to her husband and was his sole care giver for the past several years as he fought MS.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Phillip Palmer; a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Aaron and Tina Palmer of Owensboro; grandsons (whom she adored), Logan and Christopher Palmer; a brother, Tony Cain of Richland City, IN; sisters, Roxanna Cain of Mt Sterling, KY, Dorothy (Danny) Richards and Connie (Mike) Sharp all of Owensboro, and Mary Rose (Paul) Ferguson of LaGrange, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Crosspointe Baptist Church, 550 Worthington Rd., Owensboro, KY 42301 with Brother Farrell Isenberg officiating followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
