Linda Sue Newton

Linda Sue Newton, 59, of 316 Hale Ave., Owensboro, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at her residence. She was born November 27, 1944, in Patesville, KY, to Emmett and Lillie Bell Sanders Newton. She did private sitting, was a member of the Pentecostal church, and she enjoyed singing gospel music.

Survivors include four brothers, Charles and James, both of Owensboro, George Newton of Reynolds Station, and Danny Newton of Lewisport, four sisters, Dorothy McManaway of Reynolds Station, Helen Herode, Betty Wietting, and Bonnie Barrera, all of Owensboro, several nieces and nephews, and a long time friend, Shirley Wilkey of Owensboro.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Roseville Cemetery in Hancock County. Visitation will be 2:00 till 6:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
