Linda Jean McCoy

Linda J. McCoy, 60, of Owensboro, passed away March 26, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1954, in Tucson, AZ. to Kenneth and Jean Epperson. Linda and her first husband, Robin A. Whitten III, were proud to be Kentucky Colonels. Linda worked at Murphy Miller and MPD for several years. She was a graduate of Daviess County High School. Linda was of the Christian faith and loved fishing, family, friends, games and her granddogs.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Robert Epperson.

Survivors include her significant other, Sammy D. McCoy; daughter Patti Whitten; sisters, Carla Thomas and Ava Heep; brother, Lyle Epperson; mother, Jean Epperson; a niece and nephew, and several cousins. She also leaves behind one uncle, two aunts and several cousins in England.
