Linda Carol Clouse Mattingly, 52 of 1903 Mc Culloch Avenue, Owensboro, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at her home. She was born in Daviess County to the late Delbert Lewis Mattingly and Jonell Clark Mattingly Jefferson. She was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church ,a graduate of Kentucky Tech., and she liked to travel, collect Barbies and angels, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Earl and Ronnie Mattingly.
Surviving are her husband, Walter Clouse 37 years., Sons Chris Clouse and wife Rena of Maceo, Andy Clouse and significant other, Darrell Sampson of Madison, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Jacob L., Darrell Sampson, Jacob E., Blake, Hunter, Brandon and Kasey Clouse, a brother, Bill Mattingly and wife Judy of Madisonville, KY., two sisters, Beverly Russell Mattingly of Owensboro, and Darlene Carrithers and husband Chuck of Terre-Haute, Indiana, a sister in law, Georgetta Mattingly of Maceo, five nieces and twelve nephews, several aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
