Linda Kay Lashbrook, 56, of 449 Maplewood Drive, Owensboro, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at her daughters home. Mrs. Lashbrook was born September 11, 1947 in Daviess County, to the late James and Lettie Littrell Wilkins.
She worked as a secretary in the office of Judge Gene Lanham. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Kentucky Secretaries Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Lashbrook, in 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Buffy Quisenberry Bittel of Owensboro; a step-daughter, Karen Lasher of Hawesville; three step-sons, Brian and Jimmy Lashbrook both of Owensboro and Greg Lashbrook of Hawesville; a grandson, Travis Bittel; and five step-grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Seth, Shane and Bridget;and one brother, Phillip Wilkins of Utica.
Services will be at 9:30 A.M., Saturday June 26th, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial following at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 8:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
