Linda Arlene Jarvis

Linda Arlene Jarvis, 76, passed away October 5, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born September 16,1941 in Evansville, IN to the late Arthur Dockery and Christine Hawkins. Linda was a strong woman, articulate in her beliefs and tender in her heart. She was known by her family as sacrificial in her giving. Linda was an incredible artist, especially in regard to portraits. She was gifted musically with the guitar and the keyboard which she learned to play by ear. Linda's greatest passion in life, besides her husband, was her involvement in her children and grandchildren's lives.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Robert R. Jarvis.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Shannon Gallatin and her husband Scott, of Macedon, NY; a son, Chris Lord and his wife Veronica of Cordova, TN; grandchildren, Madigan, Joshua, Reagan, and Elijah; and a sister, Devonia Stein.

A graveside service will be 2 PM Sunday at Hanson City Cemetery in Hanson, KY, with Scott Gallatin officiating.
