Linda Gail Brown Howard

Linda Gail Brown Howard, of Owensboro passed away at her home February 22, 2013. She was born in Elizabethton, TN. Her parents were the late J.C. and Lockie Jane Richardson.
Linda was a dedicated homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by many. She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert Howard in 2005 and infant twin grandchildren in 2011.
Survivors include her five children, Jeff Howard and his wife Jeannie of Owensboro, Mark Howard and his wife Rose of Livermore, Michele Oost of Owensboro, Wendy Boone & Steve of Owensboro; and Shanon Kelly & Curtis of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Michael Howard, Lauren Oost, Morgan Higdon, Megan Howard, Robert Payne, Erin Boone and Trevor Cox; two great grandchildren, Cameron Oost and Kayley Smith; three step grandchildren, Brandon Boone, Sara Boone and Marissa Mattingly; a brother, Mitchell Brown of Shell Creek Tennessee; extended family, Walter and Rose Trivett of Calhoun and best friend Patsy Wingfield.
The funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, February 25 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Tim Roberts will officiate. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-6 PM and after 9 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
