Linda Lou Jennings Horton

Linda Lou Jennings Horton, of Owensboro, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. A native of Owensboro, she was born to the late L.D. and Golda (Densford) Jennings. Linda was formerly the assistant secretary for the Kentucky Cabinet for Martha Layne Collins. In addition to her parents, a sister, Dorothy Roberts, and brothers, L.D. Jennings Jr. and Jackie Jennings, also preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Chance Horton of Owensboro, grandson, Jacob Horton of Frankfort, a sister, Doris (Bobby) Mayes of Owensboro, David L. (Martha) Jennings of Whitesville, and Larry (Julia) Jennings of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Karnes Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be left at www.glennfuneralhome .com.
