Linda Sue Schweikarth Clark

Linda Schweikarth Clark, 63, went home to be with Jesus, Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born in Owensboro on March 11, 1946, Mrs. Clark was the loving daughter of the late Joseph "J.C." and Mary Lucille Johnson Schweikarth; was retired from Owensboro National/Area Bank where she was a teller and worked as the bookkeeper/office manager for Clark Chiropractic Center. She was a dedicated member of Immaculate Catholic Church; was devoted to her weekly prayer group; and for more than 15 years attended weekly Eucharistic Adoration at the Carmel Home Chapel. But most importantly, Mrs. Clark was devoted to her familya loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband of 37 years, Phil Clark; sons, Dr. Aaron (Jill) Clark, Travis (Rachael) Clark, Courtney Clark, and Tyler Clark all of Owensboro; a granddaughter, Madison Nicole Clark; a grandson to be born in October, William Joseph Clark; a sister-in-law, Barbara Simon of Owensboro; brothers-in-law, Charlie Winchell and Jim Simon; aunts and uncles, Mildred Smith, Cecilia Hawkins, Harold (Barbara) Johnson, Mac Johnson, Mary Osborne, and Jack Clark; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.

Service are 12 noon Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father Phil Riney officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary Magdalene Cemetery in Sorgho. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10 on Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the St Joseph Peace Mission for Children or to the Carmel Home Chapel Fund.
