Linda Maria Brown

Linda Maria Brown, 62, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born on December 8, 1951 in Daviess Co., KY. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at Owensboro-Daviess Co. Hospital as well as Louisville Methodist Hospital. Linda was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and teaching them about the Lord. She also enjoyed camping, flower gardening, singing, and listening to gospel music. She dearly loved taking care of all her family. She was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Isaac Brown on March 6, 2011 and her father, John F. Elder in 1994.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry E. "Eddie" Brown, her mother, Mary Catherine Elder of Owensboro, her daughter, Natalie Wilhelm and husband Dennis of Henderson, two sons, Jeff Brown and Kevin Brown and wife Ashley, all of Owensboro, six grandchildren, Taylor Mills, Gavin Brown, Raegan Brown, Gauge, Zayn, and Taryn Wilhelm, a brother, Johnny Elder and wife Debbie of Bowling Green, three sisters, Mary Anne Masters and husband Ken, Patricia Howard and husband Tony, and Janie Wood and husband Jack, all of Owensboro, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 14 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Jason Mayfield officiating. Burial will be at a later time in Brushy Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
