Lillie Mae Early

Lillie Mae Lil Early, 87, of Pleasant Ridge, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Owensboro. She was a native of Logan County, born to William and Sallie Logan White on March 16, 1916. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her family. She retired from General Electric.

Her husband, Arvin A. Shorty Early who died in 1968, and a son, George William Early, who died November 3, 2002, preceded her in death.

Survivors include, one daughter, Betty Hall of Utica; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Hagan Early of Utica; two granddaughters, Tabatha Hall of Philpot, and Amanda Hall Baird of Utica; two great-grandsons, Timothy Dakota Baird and Alex Baird; one half-brother, Kenneth White of Russellville; one half-sister, Shirley Pitt of New Jersey; several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 and after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
