Lillie Jewell Bolin, 75, of Owensboro died Friday, October 19, 2001 at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Ohio County native was a member of First General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Bolin, in 1995 and a daughter, Betty Bolin, in 1946.
Survivors include three sons; Rev. John Madison Bolin of Clearwater, SC, James Bolin, Jr., of Owensboro and Rev. Barin Bolin of Manchester, KY, 4 grandchildren, and two half sisters, Daisy Simpson of Owensboro and Joyce Monroe of Beaver Dam.
Services are at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Central City, KY. Visitation is from 2 until 8 P.M. Monday and after 9 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Building Fund of First General Baptist Church, 620 Maple Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42301.
