Lillian Earl Bivins Watts

Lillian Earl Bivins Watts, 85, of Owensboro, Kentucky died June 22, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born in Bethleham, Kentucky to the late, Frank and Betty Lou Moreland Bivins. Mrs. Watts was a member of Third Baptist Church and had been co-owner of K and W Equipment and the Kelly and Wilmore Corporation. She married the love of her life, James Robert Watts on April 8, 1944 and they have celebrated their love and their life together for the last 68 years. She was a nurturing mother, celebrated grandmother and great-grandmother, and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by and caring for her family.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Clark.

She is survived by her husband, James Robert Watts; children, Wayne Robert Watts, Penny Elaine Christ and her husband Richard, and Cindy Lou Burris and her husband Nolan all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jim Watts (Violet), Melissa Davis (Kelly), Chad Watts (Leslie), Lanie Kincer (Greg), Colin Christ (Mary), Shelly Brenner (Alex), Shaun Nonweiler (Amy), Greg Burris (Alisha), and Ryan Burris (Natalie); great-grandchildren, Madison Chapman, Beau Watts, Lauren Watts, Alexandra Watts, Annabelle Watts, Aidan Christ, Christian Kincer, Mackenzie Brenner, Alexander Brenner, Ella Nonweiler, and Ava Burris; and a niece, Luann Kirkland.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful caregivers that have so faithfully cared for Lillian these past 11 and a half years.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and after noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
