Lillian Igleheart Bailey

Lillian Igleheart Bailey, 83, of 1943 Wyandotte Avenue, Owensboro died Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on July 1, 1919 the daughter of Albert and Esther Nation Igleheart. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Wayne Pennington in 1995.

Mrs. Bailey retired from Rosehill Elmwood Cemeteries and Bickett Monument Company. She was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church and the WMU of the church.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J. D. Bailey; one son, Jerry Wayne Bailey of Owensboro; two daughters, Brenda Little of Hartford, KY and Peggy Pennington of Owensboro; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2002 at Lewis Lane Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Larry Maddox and Rev. Tom Collier. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Lewis Lane Baptist Church.
