Lewis Daniel Smiser

Lewis Daniel Smiser, 59, of 411 Legion Blvd, Owensboro, died Saturday, September 2, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Owensboro native was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a Chemical Laboratory Technician at MPD. He enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Jimmie Keith; a brother, Sam Smiser of Owensboro,; and several cousins.

Services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 4-8 P.M. Tuesday, and after 9 A.M. Wednesday. Parrish prayers will be 6 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
