Levenia Smeathers

Levenia Smeathers, 87, of Owensboro, died November 17, 2014. She was born July 25, 1927 to the late James Graham and Fannie Lewis Neff Smeathers. Levenia was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She was a retired bookkeeper from Pioneer Farm Service, and worked for Doctors Pendleton and Parks and also a member of Golden Years Senior Citizens in Maceo.

Levenia was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Graham Smeathers.

Survivors include her niece , Marilyn Smeathers of Lewisport; nephews Terry Lynn Smeathers (Debbie) of Owensboro, and Dwane Smeathers (Leslie) of Lewisport; great-niece, Amber Lowery of Owensboro; great-nephew, Cliffton Smeathers of Owensboro; sister-in-law, Mae Smeathers of Lewisport; and several cousins.

Service will be 12noon Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8pm and Thursday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
