Leslie George Moore

Leslie George "Buck" Moore, 78, of Owensboro, made his journey to heaven on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Buck lived in Owensboro all his life. He worked at Farmers Elevator for 39 years before retiring. He enjoyed long drives in the country and telling about the days of his life long ago to friends and family.

Buck was preceded in death by his late wife, Edith Head, a granddaughter, Leslie Eastin Southwick, two sisters, Francis Kassinger and Flossie Moore, and his brother, Lawrence Moore.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmie "BoBo" Eastin, and his wife, Judy of Owensboro, his daughters, Mallina Bonaccorso of San Diego, CA, Kathy Alburger and her husband, Thomas of King City, CA, Donna Morrison and her husband, George IV of Baytown, TX, his son, Shawn Moore of Owensboro; 14 beautiful grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, whom he loved and adored; his sister, Mary Anderson of Owensboro. He will be truly missed by all of us who loved him and had the honor to call him friend.

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Sorgho Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
