Leslie Theo Koontz

Leslie Theo Koontz, 96, of Owensboro passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at The Heartford House. Born in Wayne County, KY, a son of the late Edgar and Ruth Smith Koontz, he retired from General Electric and was a member of First Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his wife, Ruth Givins Koontz, his brother, Harlie Koontz, and his sister, Lelia Burton.

Mr. Koontz is survived by his wife, Margaret Clark Koontz; his daughter, Marlene (Bill) Williams; his grandchildren Bill K. (Francine) Williams and Charlene (Frank) Taylor; his great-grandchildren Frank B. (Amy) Taylor, Will Taylor, and Rachael Taylor; his great-great-grandchildren Brannon Taylor and Emma Taylor; his step-grandchildren Michael (Lea) Clark, Brenda (Tony) Eaden, and Richard (Beverly) Clark; and a step-grandchild Ben Clark.
