Leslie Ann Chapman

Leslie Ann Chapman of Owensboro, KY died Tuesday, March 3, 2009. She was born March 9, 1942, to the late Rex and Martine Lucas Rector in McLean County, KY. She was a member of Breckenridge Street United Methodist Church. Ms. Chapman was also preceded in death by her husband, E.L. Chapman and her brother, Don Rector.

Survivors include her children, Kris Chapman Rose and her husband Jamie of Lexington, KY and William Ray Hoagland of Brusly, LA; and her grandchildren, Scarlett Rose, Lauren Rose, James Rose, Clay Rose, Neil Rose, Matt Rose and Haley Hoagland.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledge Bill Burks, Phyllis Holinde and Tommy Leonard for their unconditional friendship and support.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Breckenridge Street United Methodist Church. Entombment will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In acknowledgement of Ms. Chapman's wishes and in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Breckenridge Street United Methodist Church or the Owensboro Daviess County Humane Society.
